We are new Sangoma customers and have a few suggestions that we've identified that would be unbelievably helpful for our team. I've laid them out in order of our priorities below (highest to lowest).
* The ability for message-only extensions that connect to a separate mailbox.
* For example, our intake team is fully bilingual in Spanish and English. We have a lot of Spanish-speaking clients, so we have a separate Spanish auto-attendant and a Spanish intake line. As it stands with Sangoma's current configuration, our intake team needs to check two different lines to see all voicemails in English and Spanish. However, if we could have all messages route to one voicemail box, it would be incredibly helpful for them to check one central voicemail rather than multiple.
* We also have a "Dial 0" button. Our name is vague, so even though our services are limited to a specific population, we get calls all the time from people looking for other assistance. If someone calls our main line and presses 0, they are routed to a voicemail that needs to be different from our standard intake line, but it is checked by the same team. Ultimately, our intake team is checking 3 different voicemails for the same purpose.
* The ability to switch between blocked and unblocked outgoing calls
* We are switching from RingCentral, which has posed a host of challenges for us. However, one of the best features of theirs is that in outgoing calls, there is a dropdown menu and you can select how your outgoing calls show up (e.g. you can call from the main company line, your direct number, or a blocked number). We work with survivors of sexual violence, which sometimes overlaps with domestic violence and we do not always know if it is safe to contact a survivor from an unblocked number. If the abuser returns the call, they may receive a voicemail that indicates our organization, which could create a very dangerous situation for the survivor.
* Receiving faxes on direct lines
* I'm unsure exactly how this works, but with RingCentral we are also able to send and receive faxes from direct phone numbers.
* One central app (I know this is in progress and I am really looking forward to it!)
* It's been a bit confusing for our folks to know which apps they're supposed to use for what purposes. Same with having multiple extensions for the same user for Sangoma Talk vs. TeamHub.
